Best beer garden. Huge selection of drinks and food. Great live music with Andy King (Elvis). We would love to come back. ?

I was there with my family on Sunday, October 11th, 2020. The weather was mixed and the beer garden was not well attended. We were even alone at the food order counter. After we had our food on the trays, we went to the checkout. Unfortunately, there was no one there who wanted to take our drink order and collect it. We had to wait for minutes, even though I had called several times, because after all we had ordered warm food that was now slowly getting cold. Ms. Merz (the operator) was also on site, but she didn't take care of us either. After what felt like an eternity, an employee took pity and came to the cash register. To my complaint he reacted very grumpy and not exactly customer-friendly. After what felt like an eternity, we could then "enjoy" lukewarm veal sausages. We had to clean the cutlery with the napkin beforehand! And as if we hadn't already been punished enough, a live band began to play, which made us regret our visit to this beer garden completely! Dear Ms. Merz, that was really an indictment for such an experienced restaurateur as you are. In any case, we will no longer bother you and your employees with our presence!

Nicely located beer garden, although currently in the immediate vicinity of Stuttgart 21. As usual with self-service. Varied and typical regional dishes, well organized cash register, everything fixed, everything is good.

We went back to Sonja Renz's beer garden. It was excellent as always. We look forward to the next time. Definitely to be recommended

Sensational, after 6 months of abstinence from dancing in glorious sunshine, loved people all around, the soul has received nourishment

The advertised beer garden bread was not served with the sausage salad. Instead, a very small white bun. No information about this from the service. Later severe nausea and vomiting. A female companion who had also eaten the sausage salad also complained of such symptoms. Shortly after 11 p.m. the lights were simply switched off and the employees fled. No evidence that they want to make. I have never experienced anything like it. I used to work in the restaurant business and that's not how you deal with customers. Toilets were pretty dirty and no towels to dry off. Definitely my last visit.

Cold food, unfriendly staff. It cannot be accepted that the opening times that are published are not respected. If you are told by the staff at 9:00 p.m. that you cannot offer hot meals but would be open until 1:00 a.m., you should rethink your system. It cannot be that you get served cold food and then declare it fresh. I'll never go there again. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this beer garden

Very nice place in the city center!

Very nice, good food and beer. Invites you to linger when the weather is nice.

The staff is very friendly and also "shortly before close", so towards the end of the opening times, we still got warm and high quality food here. The price-performance ratio is very good, the prices in the Stuttgart comparison in the quite affordable range. I will gladly come again :)

Nice beer garden. Unfortunately the huge construction site next door, but the beer garden can't help it. The food is typical Swabian cuisine. The Käsespätzle were a bit too creamy for me personally. On the scoreboard it says onion melt, but unfortunately only a few hash brown onions were strewn over it. A little disappointing ... but would go back anyway.

Once spot in city center, definitely recommend if you plan an afternoon to chill out ++ very good anc quite location despite proximity from train station ++ wide variety of drinks and foods ++ good price 4€/0.5l beer

Good location despite S21 construction site. Self service (as always). Quality of the food is ok. Dark wheat was unfortunately out, but will definitely be available again soon.

The food was very tasty and the lady, (a bit smaller and plump) at the food counter, deserves special praise. There is not such a nice service everywhere. :) I can only recommend.

It was very nice, it is anyway Always great to be able to spend the day in the middle of Stuttgart in the palace garden in this oasis amid noise, traffic, hectic pace and then having a drink or something to eat in the beer garden. Thanks a lot for this!

Ok place. Pretty standard and a bit industrial. Nice location in the lovely park.

We had a couple of string sausages with potato salad. The strings were gray and soft like a sausage. The potato salad was by far the worst I've ever tried !!! Bucket goods of the worst quality - simply not edible. Drink beer, but steer clear of eating !!

What better place to enjoy the great weather. The members of our Stuttgart Expat Meetups group particularly those with kids appreciate the kids play area so Mums and Dads can enjoy a drink while the kids play

A "Biergarten" as you expect it to be. Self-service, outdoors, wide choice of typical German and regional drinks and food. Suited for groups, families and individual.

Such a great place to have a couple or Sunday afternoon. Friendly service and co conspiraters alike. Generally English friendly in the food and drink lines.

Great music, and atmosphere.

Great German experience, sadly staff didn't speak English too well, but we got what we wanted without problems. I will recommend this place for all tourists.

Very nice environment and a small playground right next to the Biergarten. So perfect to go there with children. However, the varieties of drinks I quite limited (eg no alcohol free beer, no 0.3 beer). I haven’t tried the food but it smelled good (think they serve basic food like Schnitzel).

Nice place. You have to have olso good wrather because everything is outside,but it's great because you have a space for kids to play. The prices are ok, but you have olso live music witch is very good. Thanks.

Except that as each new place Abroad, there is always something you caught unprepared! In this case, there was a deposit for the cup-the price you read it, the next time you want 2 € + and on the stand you read that the deposit is 2 €
